Hey Fellow Artists!
I am currently an Artist-in-Residence at The Red Poppy Art House, located on 23rd and Folsom right here in The Mission. I am incredibly excited to be working with Zena Allen and Shyam Das to curate / produce A Feast of Communities, which will bring audiences with which we want to more intentionally connect into The Poppy for an experience over dinner.
As part of the residency, they are letting me host FOUR Pop-Up shop experiments (titled "The Poppies") throughout 2017. YAY! And so I want to extend this opportunity out to you, my fellow artists, cause (as you know) I value cultivating exchange.
My friend, Andrea Fuenzalida has agreed to help me manage them. She will be producing the digital and physical assets and leading outreach. This will be incredibly helpful in making The Poppies successful.
I am now reaching out to see who is interested in vending at these pop-up experiments. We are looking for hand-made products and personalized services. Think prints, candles, tarot readings, portrait sessions, jewelry, knick-knacks, personalized spice packets. Anything that is made / created by you!

- About 6 - 8 artists per weekend
- $75 fee / weekend to help cover outreach and marketing costs
- Donations collected at event will be split among all artists vending (chance to recoup $75 fee!)
- All events at The Red Poppy Art House
- BYOT (bring your own table)
- Dates: SUN, April 23, SAT/SUN, July 15/16, SAT/SUN, Nov 11/12, SAT/SUN, Dec 9/10
